Hi Alley and Jus, Have no more to add to help you cope - just wish you well. When my first son died from his brain tumour on the 25/10/99 that was devastating and I found I could only take one day at a time. I had another child Emma now 13 and it was only her dependance on me that really kept me goi...

Best wishes Stacy

Best wishes for the 15th January Stacy. Stay positive and look forward to seeing you on RPA. Take something to keep you occupied when you are recovering in Hospital - everyone forgets time in Hospital on the over side of surgery can be boring. Just imagine doing something you don't get time to do at...

Great News after post-op MRI

One week ago Daniel had his 6 week MRI. Yesterday we went to see Dr Teo and it looks like the entire tumour is now gone. Teo said "what a great resection. How clever am I!". There was no severe or permanent complications. No medications and no swelling. There is a tiny little white mark sh...

Hi Stacy, Wishing you all the best with your treatment. Daniel is my son who had surgery with Teo on the 8th September. He had been diagnosed with an astrocytoma grade two and was told it was inoperable by four other experts in the field. He was told not to have the surgery and not to go to Teo. How...

thanks for replies

Thank you Mary and Boris for your information. We were due to have stereotactic radiation now. Dr Teo has not mentioned having this as he is counting on removing the entire tumour. That is why I have been anxious. The radiation oncologist has said radiation after surgery will depend on how my son is...
