Hi Val. I don't know about any of the drugs sorry. Denise has not had to take any and as we are following a nutritional strategy that is working I hope there will be no need to. Due to the large amount of research I have done over these past 2 years, I now lean towards the non-medical side of how to...

Milestone 1 - A 2 year survivor (and totally back to normal)

Denise had her regular MRI scan last week (now 4 monthly). It was clear once again so that is just great. The doctor wouldn't say that everything has gone as there is an area where the tumour was removed that is still there but he did say that it appears brain is 'growing back in' to the area. No ev...

That's great Jaytee, I have only just caught up with your story about Pen from your recent post. My wife Denise (GBM4) also had a great attitude and remains MRI clear as we approach the 2 year mark. She is completely normal with no issues. Of particular interest to me was your comment about Pen's di...

Hello Kelly, I can understand the feeling you have for Kevin's situation. I faced it nearly 2 years ago with my wife Denise (GBM4) who I thought was a very healthy person. I didn't know how I could improve what we did but there is always knowledge to be found. She is now totally well, her story is i...

The Best Xmas present.

Denise had her regular 3 monthly MRI scan on 22nd December 2010. The doctor reported it as "yes, good, it's just like the last one" so he's pleased. Pleased! That's bloody wonderful, it's amazing - that's 5 scans now with no evidence of any tumour activity anywhere! I hope my use of enthus...

Hello Femme, Just caught up on your story - this forum has so much to read. That's wonderful that another birthday has come for Nicole and she is so well. It gives us so much hope to read these stories. My wife Denise is also very well 18 months after her op and it's nice to know such success exists...

Hello Nancy, I've just caught up with your posts and sympathise with the situation you find yourself in regarding the nutritional side of the treatment approach. You've probably read our story about GBM4 and how strong I am about the food we eat determining how we can help ourselves as the treatment...

Reply on Vitamin D Dosage

I had done some research on vitamin D and realised that we might well be on the low side as we tended to cover up against the sun as everyone is encouraged to do these days. We play tennis and walk lots in the sun but maybe the skin exposure was low. We will aim to get more from now on. I read "...

Wonderful update on my wife's situation.

Yesterday (29 Sept) Denise had her regular 3 monthly MRI scan. It seemed it was slightly more comprehensive this time according to her as it was more complex and took slightly longer. The doctor said that she found it "very reassuring, with no evidence of any tumors anywhere". How wonderfu...

Agreeing with the approach

I read the book and put it on my short list of best books. I used a lot of it's followings in my wife's treatment as it concurred with a lot of the other things I had read and believed. A conventional doctor finding a strategy that steps outside the orthodox to save his own life is a powerful messag...

Mixing orthodox treatment and nutrition details web page

Thanks for your welcome and advice about how to post the full story.
I have loaded it on for anyone to read. It is exactly what we did but I'm not saying it was all that can be done. I hope others find it useful.

Mixing orthodox treatment and nutrition for success?

This story comes from New Zealand with a great outcome. It followed a conventional treatment pattern but was enhanced by beliefs resulting from research into what can be done to help the patient. It may not be classed as 'leading edge' but I just want people to know what was done as I'm sure it will...
