Ginger Green Tea

If you have read my recent posts, you will know that this year I have started drinking green tea, after acknowledging its many health benefits; including being a good cancer supplement. I am also taking tumeric to flavour my food, very good cancer supplement, and read that you need to take it with black pepper or ginger. I add black pepper.

My wife saw ginger green tea while out shopping and thought I could try it. To my surprise, the greatest benefit has been to my breathing. The first time I took it I went to the gym shortly afterwards and I noticed my breathing was better while working out. Being born I sceptic, I have continued using it before training and my breathing has been greatly improved.

Since being on chemo for 18 months, my breathing has not been the same. Now I can breath fully in and out. I can hold my breath for 25 seconds, which I estimate to be twice as long as before taking ginger green tea. While still less than before treatment, I have a running background, it is a significant improvement.

So I'd be interested to hear whether someone else has tried it. One extra tip, a squeeze of lemon adds to the absorption of any minerals in green tea in general :). Ginger green tea does a strong flavour. Happy drinking!

Yeah of course green tea is really very good for the health.
Along with the cancer treatment it also works well for the heart health. It controls the cholesterol level and reduces the risk of the heart diseases.
