Ben is a now 14 year survivor of GBM. His story may be found at, with a recent brief update:

I have referred to his useful articles, which may be found here:

I like his approach and he has provided his fellow survivors valuable information. Is his story a tale of good luck or good management; or both?
A few brain tumor treatment centers are willing to disclose their stats and are getting some favourable results (I guess those unwilling to release such figures may have their reasons ;). In the next few days I will be writing a book review about a book written by the chair of a major treatment center, their results will surprise you.

Hi LCAS,
I meant "Brain Surgeon" by Keith Black - http://btsurvivor.com/bb/viewtopic.php? ... eith+black
Hope this helps. Although not so excited now by advances in acute treatments like surgery I can see why I was at the time :).
